This project included various classes (social studies, science, etc.) focusing on the Lost Boys of Sudan, the country, its people, and the living conditions. Students will read A Long Walk to Water, and prepare essays for a contest and essays detailing their own family journeys to Syracuse. Students will also create water carrying vessels from clay, and create a vignette shadow play based on the book which they will perform during a day-long visit with Mr. John Dau, one of the Lost Boys.
